During the Breast reduction
Once all the exams have been completed. Doctors will prepare you for the operation. General anesthesia will be performed. The techniques used to make the incision vary depending on the size of the breast and the degree of sagging. Then, after any excess skin and breast tissue, they will be moved upward to be consistent with the patient's body and desires. And the nipples will be moved afterwards to be consistent with the new shape of the breasts. The breast reduction operation takes about 2 to 3 hours. And patients have to stay overnight in the hospital due to the anesthetic effect.
After the Breast reduction
Medications prescribed by your doctor should be taken regularly and movements not recommended by your doctor should be avoided during the recovery period.
You must wear a medical bra and a special bra for the entire period indicated by your doctor.
